Mercedes-Benz Vietnam Ltd. (MBV), a joint venture with the German-based Mercedes-Benz AG and SAMCO, was incorporated on the 14th of April in 1995. MBV has been tasked with the assembly and distribution of passenger cars. Since our foundation in 1995, we have been a key player in the local automotive industry, especially in the luxury segment.
Internship in Logistics Department
Are you a passionate student who is currently pursuing a degree in Operations Management, Import & Export, Supply Chain Management, or any other relevant major? Are you committing to work full-time in 6 months (8 hours/day & 5 days/week)? Do you want to participate in different projects in the area of the Logistics Department? If so, you should become our new Logistics Intern.
What will you do?
In this intern role, you will spend time on supporting department’s daily tasks such as:
Support operations warehouse (lay-out, labeling, Continuous Improvement, Best Practice, Update procedures, working instruction, etc.)
Materials Requirement Plan: steering contract, forecast plan, documentation, update Bill Of Materials, Demand, Volume planning.
Production Planning: Daily/Weekly plan, update status of vehicle, uploaded price/tax, BOM, etc.
Other tasks assigned by Team Leader
Qualifications - External
Who are we looking for?
To fit into our team you should have:
- Academic background in Logistics, Supply chain, Industrial, Automotive
- Commitment to work full-time in 6 months (8 hours/day & 5 days/week)
- Fluency in English, good use of Microsoft Office skills, strong communication skills
- Good command of English
- Desire to learn and attention to detail
- High teamwork spirit, confidence and able to work independently
- Having coding skill as a plus
